Street Ministry with the Sisters of the Poor of Jesus Christ takes place every Thursday morning. Our parish assists them on the 4th Thursday of the month. Volunteers meet at St. Stanislaus Parish Hall at 10am to prepare the lunch bags with sandwiches, water, etc. At about 10:30am, those who wish join the Sisters in going around downtown Hamilton to distribute the bagged lunches to those who are in need. In addition to feeding the hungry, we also look forward to friendly, encouraging conversations with those we meet, along with spiritual support through prayer.
